Since my agricultural training and studies I have been interested in the details of cultivating soya, chickpeas, lupins, etc. I believe that legumes must once again take a prominent place in our crop rotations. In my experience, one of the keys to success lies in the love for the details of cultivation.
From 2011 to 2017, I oversaw the organic soya contract farming for Taifun-Tofu GmbH, where I was involved in everything related to the cultivation and seed multiplication of the soya bean. During several journeys in Europe and in the worlds main soya growing regions I could gather experience and later make various videos and publications about soya cultivation.
Later I specialised in the "niche" subject legume seed inoculation and rhizobial N-fixation. It did not make sense to me that there were still soo many failures with this rather simple detail of legume production. Also I had seen that the same products are mostly half price in the main growing regions, compared to Europe. A partner in Canada recommended Legume Technology from England to me, who have since become an invaluable partner for reliable inoculant supply.
In 2017, I started my own business offering inoculants and expert advice for legume producers. Besides that I started trading high quality organic edamame seed under the name Gartensoja.
