Good, Affordable Inoculants for all Legumes
LegumeFix and LiquiFix are traditionally being used in the big pulse growing countries like Canada and the Ukraine. I sell them in Europe since 2017. In the meantime they are being used on a big acreage and with very good success here, too. Besides Soya and lupin lately the demand for specialties such as chickpea has also increased a lot.
The very high number of Rhizobia assures good nodulation (5 billion bacteria per g at manufacture). Optimal, safe nitrogen fixation is being attained by using the best and newest strains of rhizobia available. For soya, for example, two of the most efficient brasilien Embrapa-strains (Semia 5079 and 5080) are being combined.
Both products are approved for organic farming in the EU.
LegumeFix
LegumeFix is a classic peat-based inoculant comparable to HiStick.
- 24 month shelf life when stored at 5-15°C
- Inoculation within 24 hours before sowing is recommended
- Besides Soya and Lupin LegumeFix is available for chickpeas, alfalfa, bush beans, lentils, peas, vetch, field beans and even peanuts. Specialties must be ordered well in time!
LiquiFix
LiquiFix is a liquid inoculant sold in big containers. Due to its practical handling it is often used by big growers.
- Inoculation within 2 days before sowing is recommended. This period can be longer if the seeds are being stored in a cool place
- 12 month shelf life when stored at 5-15°C. Up to 18 month when stored in the fridge.
- Available for Soya and Lupin

In researching a market overview of soya inoculants in 2017, it became apparent that the same products are considerably more expensive in Central Europe than in larger growing regions. In addition, LegumiN was looking for a quality manufacturer whose attention was focused specifically on inoculants, where they weren’t seen as just another product.
